January 22nd 2026 it was 8 years ago our dear Tom Taylor aka Barry Stephens from European Music Radio passed away. We will not forget him for all he's done for FRS in the past.

This series of photos regards the main FRS studio covering the period 1980 to present. A total of five different studios have been used since the start in 1980. Partly with the same equipment. This series shows photos from the very first ‘attic based’ studio until the one currently being in use. Of course there have been many more separate studios: each FRS presenter had (has) its very own private studio to record his FRS show. The main studio is the one which was used for get togethers with several FRS jocks (X-Mas and Birthday recordings etc.) in the early years and where all FRS Sunday broadcasts have been (are) ‘mastered’ and finalized. Up till now….
